Last year Easy Health created and rolled out an easy read survey to assess cervical screening appointment pathways accessibility for people with learning disabilities in Wandsworth.

The project was commissioned by The Wandsworth GP federation ( formerly BHCIC) to get an insight into the needs and experiences of patients with a Learning Disability, In assisted or Independent Living.

Whilst Wandsworth GP Federation Surgeries and PCNs in the area were also surveyed.

This project is part of a review of the current pathway and related information for transformation to AIS.

An easy read version of this report and recommendations will be published on easy health, in due course. We also aim to Implement the pathway with at least one GP practice to help improve access to appointments for patients with a lived experience of learning disabilities and or autism.
